Straight Wheels Truck Alignment is currently looking for a mechanically minded highly motivated individual that works well in a fast-paced team environment to join our team of technicians.

Immediate start available

Above award wages paid

Mechanically minded applicant preferred however full training will be provided to the right person.

This role will require someone who is willing to learn all aspects of the trade and become a highly respected and rewarded team member.

We provide services to the heavy vehicle trucking industry including wheel alignment, tyres, re-bushing, steering and suspension repairs.

**Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Wheel alignments on trucks, trailers, commercials and 4x4's
steering and suspension repairs
Trailer rebushing
Tyre Fitting and Wheel balancing
Assisting our qualified Mechanics
Parts pickup
cleaning of workshop

**The key skills and requirements for this role include**:
Skilled use of tools inc hand and air tools
Problem solving ability
Automotive experience is an advantage but not essential
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Must hold a valid manual drivers license
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn
Be physically fit
Punctual, reliable, honest and have a strong work ethic
Have own reliable transport

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4:00pm
Minimum 40 hours per week, some overtime expected on a need for basis
