**Role Description/Criteria**
St Brigid's Catholic Primary School in Healesville, Victoria are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer/Library Technician to join our vibrant school community. The main duties include
- to work with individual or small groups of children under the direction of the classroom teacher and Learning Diversity Leader,
- to maintain the school resource collection and co-ordinate purchase of new materials to support student learning,
- to ensure the library collection is stored appropriately,
- to monitor loans and issue overdue notices to families, and
- to prepare visual displays that connect with current classroom learning for the school library and maintain the space as an engaging learning environment.
**ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA**
- A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Experience in administration and general office processes and procedures.
- Ability to process data in a variety of forms and produce reports.
- Effective organisational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to relate effectively with parents/carers, staff and students.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Capacity to work with students of diverse needs
**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Current First Aid Certificate is preferred
- WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.
