About the role

Our Geelong Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:
Warmly greet and welcome our donors

Provide donors with clear instructions as to the completion of paperwork

Prepare food and beverages for donors and replenish the self-service buffet bar

Monitor donors post-donation and assist them in rebooking for their next donation

Our flexible self-paced paid training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to be able to:
Occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs

Frequent sitting, bending and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen

Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts

This role is a permanent, part-time opportunity - at 48 hours per fortnight - based out of our Geelong Donor Centre in Ryrie Street, Geelong, VIC. This role will include 8 shifts per fortnight, with shifts being 6 hours in length. Due to the life-giving work we do, your flexibility and availability to work morning or afternoon shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Mondays to Fridays are appreciated. Morning shifts are 7.30 AM - 1.30 PM, and afternoon shifts are 1.30 - 7.30 PM. Occasional weekend shifts may also be required during periods of leave coverage.
