**Your New Organisation**
Our client is a state-owned corporation established to design, deliver, operate, and maintain long-duration renewable energy storage assets across Queensland. By driving world-class infrastructure assets, this organisation will play a critical role in assisting the government to meet its renewable energy targets of net zero emissions by 2050 and supporting the Australian economy to a decarbonised energy system.

**Your New Role**
As an experienced front-end construction, major projects or infrastructure lawyer, you will join a growing legal team and play a key role in providing legal oversight and support for the organization's projects through all phases, from project development to procurement, delivery, and operations.

Reporting to the General Counsel you will not only interface with various external stakeholders but also play an active role in helping to unpack and identify legal risks. Your strong background in construction contracts, combined with your ability to thrive in a growing and evolving business will see you succeed in this role.

**Your Skills Profile**
- 4-10+ years' projects or construction experience specialising in infrastructure project delivery, front-end construction law or major procurements gained within a leading firm or in-house;
- Experience in environmental law, land issues, government contracting and contract management is highly desirable but not essential;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently and in a team;
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills; and
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
