**About the Organisation**

This facilities management, construction and service provision company is leading the way in complex and remote construction and infrastructure projects. Working with this company, you will be exposed to an impressive project pipeline that sees you interacting with a diverse range of Government and Corporate clients. In your role, you will support the Executive General Manager and Legal Counsel and be given exciting and varied construction and infrastructure legal matters and disputes to provide advice on.

This is a fantastic opportunity to escape the rigidity of private practice and use your expertise in an inhouse role.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager and Legal Counsel, you will be a critical member of a dynamic and highly collaborative team. No two days will be the same, and your role will be focused on:

- Offering advice and recommendations on a wide range of interesting legal work across commercial contracts and construction law matters for an enviable list of projects.
- Managing and supporting external lawyers in back-end construction litigation.
- Drafting and advising on a variety of construction and infrastructure contracts that vary greatly in complexity.

You will be mentored and supervised by the Executive General Manager and Legal Counsel.

**About you**

You will ideally bring the following attributes to the role:

- At least 3 - 5 years PQE experience preferably within construction and infrastructure.
- A high level of competency and ability to work autonomously to deliver commercial outcomes in a timely way.
- You will also have a commercially pragmatic approach to providing legal solutions within acceptable risk parameters.
- You will have honed your skills within a respected mid-tier / top-fier firm or in-house in a similar role.
- You must have a current Australian practising certificate.
- Solid experience in drafting and advising on a broad range of contractual and commercial matters.
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
