**About the Role**:
As a Practical Placement Officer at Victoria University TAFE, you will be the vital link in coordinating work-integrated learning experiences for students. Reporting directly to the Senior Coordinator of the Work Integrated Learning Unit, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships with industry partners, ensuring the smooth execution of placements, and contributing to the success of our diverse student body. Your proactive problem-solving skills and commitment to excellence will shape the future of our students and enhance the reputation of VU TAFE.
**This is a full-time continuing position, requiring 36.75 hours per week (1.0 FTE), at the classification of HEP 6, with an annual salary range from $88,691 to $96,001 plus 17% superannuation.**
**About You**:
- Tertiary sector experience in coordinating work-integrated learning programs or previous roles in education administration, student services, or any vocational training coordination would be advantageous.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong organisational skills and collaborative approach.
- Effective communicator, adaptable, and committed to equity and diversity.
- Eager to contribute to the success of VU TAFE, shape learning initiatives, and play a key role in the dual-sector education mission.
**Duties**:
**Examples of duties you may perform will include**:
- Coordinate work-integrated learning processes and administrative tasks.
- Monitor and report on student progress and absences during work placements.
- Manage systems for student and staff allocation within specific course areas.
- Support WIL projects, identify new opportunities, and contribute to marketing efforts.
- Attend University WIL network meetings and build relationships with stakeholders.Ensure accurate record-keeping of placements and compliance with policies and procedures
