**About the role...**

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Care Manager with extensive experience to work in conjunction with the Residential Manager to support the operational and strategic management of the residential service making a valuable contribution creating a home for our Elders. The position will provide exceptional support in customer, clinical and quality outcomes relating to the care delivery program.

**About you...**

You will have strong communication skills with a flexible, caring, patient attitude and collaborative approach in your practice as a Registered Nurse.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse Division 1
- Current practicing certificate with the AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency)
- Post graduate evidence of formal education
- Demonstrated ongoing education and personal development.

**Skills**
- Extensive experience in an Aged Care Management position.
- Long standing experience in a senior role that has included staff supervision and program management
- Broad clinical background as a Registered Nurse with experience in Aged Care and Residential Care
- Is able to effectively lead a team and prioritise a substantial workload in order to achieve clinical outcomes
- A true passion for Aged Care with an empathetic personality
- The ability or willingness to speak or learn another language with an understanding of other cultures preferred

**A police check with no disclosable outcome, medicare evidence of current influenza and full COVID-19 vaccination, including dose 3 is required by MiCare for this position.**

**A commitment to work exclusively with MiCare Residential Aged Care facility as your only employer during COVID-19 will be highly regarded.**
