**Job Requirements**
- Assist in the evaluation of geological data (including all sample types, geophysical data, and geochemical data to identify potential mineralisation)
- Ensure sample quality is maintained to the highest standard
- Conduct drill rig safety and environmental audits as required
- Ensure geological and department reporting and record keeping (Daily / Monthly reports) is completed, and maintained to the highest standard
- Perform geological mapping and sampling program for identified target generation and definition as required
- Maintain geological databases to record and report on drilling, environmental rehabilitation and tenement activities
- Assist in achieving targets, planning and actively participate in the outlined execution of project work and field programs, (In accordance with relevant reporting requirements/procedures)
- Carry out day-to-day supervision/direction of drilling contractors (including logging of geological samples, drill rig sampling practices by ensuring diamond core, RC & RAB sampling is conducted in accordance to identified standards)
- Assist and support geologists and technicians to ensure operations and actions are completed to the highest of standards
- Assist in the management of department resourcing during exploration & resource drilling programs
- Actively take part in the review and discussion of team exploration opportunity's
- Ensure mínimal environmental disturbance when setting up and occupying drill sites
- Take part and participate in meetings as required

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role on WA Mine Sites (Essential)
- Previous experience with Gold (Essential)
- Tertiary qualification in Geology (Essential)
- Current manual WA driver’s license (Essential)
- Holds a NPC (National Police Clearance within 6 months (Essential)
- Competent using 3D mining and GIS software (preferably Micromine & Leapfrog)
- Previous exposure to exploration geostatistical packages (IOGAS or other)
- Competent in report writing and applicable geological documentation management
- Sound understanding of mining tenements, administration and OHS&E
- An aptitude for exploration concepts and techniques
- Sound understanding of Eastern Goldfields geology and Archaean gold lode systems
- Full AUS working rights
