We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Manufacturing/Operations Manager who has strong communication and interpersonal skills to join Invetech.

What you will deliver

As a Manufacturing/Operations Manager, you will oversee the overall performance of the assigned focus factory for Contract manufacturing products. In addition, you will:
Lead team to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators pertaining to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity using Fortive Business System tools

Lead planning and implementation of new Contract Manufacturing products into manufacturing from the initial design stage to production release

Deliver core metrics (Standard Work, Daily Management, FPY%, OTD%, and DPM) to drive operational excellence

Develop a Contract Manufacturing production strategy and implement it to meet objectives

Conduct trade-off analysis to review design changes for production readiness

Deliver day-to-day production plan (materials, machines, workforce) and evaluate overall capabilities to drive improvement (QDIP)

Oversee the hiring, orienting, and training of production employees to ensure a competent workforce

Analyze and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges or problems

ERP/BOM and change control process assisting set up, management and improvements

What you will bring

You will have 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing role including “lean” manufacturing and Kanban material handling. In addition, you will bring:
Tertiary education in a relevant engineering or business discipline

Demonstrated experience leading a team

Ability to define and work to deadlines and budgets

Excellent computer skills (ERP skills also a benefit)

Experience with complex electromechanical products

A sound understanding of relevant quality systems, experience with FDA QSR 820.30, GMP operations or -13485 QMS experience preferable

A high level of project management, and organizational skills is required.
