The Principal Project Officer, Operations is accountable to the Team Leader, Operations and Results for leading projects and investigation of business needs, problems and opportunities to recommend and implement effective business and system changes, incorporating business processes and technological solutions.

Technical Capabilities

Essential
- Demonstrated experience using Business Analysis methodologies and creating business process documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking research, analysis, evaluation, and producing quality written documentation with recommendations for business
- Experience in developing stakeholder/client engagement at a variety of levels and ability to engage, influence and
- Experience in implementing system changes, monitoring outcomes and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Experience in using Microsoft Tools, including Visio and MS Project Professional including
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and

Desirable
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management Tools (Jira/ALM) or equivalent Project Management tool.
- Prince 2 or other Project Management Certification

Special Conditions
- Some out-of-hours work.
- The incumbent works under the departments Board of South Australia Act 1983.

**Qualifications**:
A tertiary qualification in Project Management or related discipline is desirable.
