The Opportunity

Join the Road Safety Policy and Reform team as a Senior Project Officer – Cameras, where your efforts will directly support projects that save lives and improve our road network. You'll coordinate key initiatives, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and help deliver programs that make a real difference to the community - all within a supportive, flexible, and values-driven workplace.

Educational Qualifications/ Licences

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent and relevant professional experience is desirable

Special Conditions

• A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
• A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, which must be renewed every five years before expiry.
• Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Tenure of Vacancy

Temporary Contract up to two (2) years

Remuneration

ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation
