The Principal Project Officer is a role accountable to the Senior Project Manager by leading and initiating collaborative program and policy development, implementation, review, research, and evaluation.

The Principal Project Officer leads and manages staff to deliver a range of projects and programs that support South Australian Aboriginal Housing Strategy initiatives and outcomes, National Agreement on Closing the Gap and the SA Housing Trust's Reconciliation Plan which includes management of activities and implementation; providing expertise and advice to other SA Housing Trust divisions, state government agencies and community stakeholders, as well as providing high quality evidence-based advice to senior SA Housing Trust staff and the Minister's Office as required.

The Principal Project Officer also facilitates consultation and communication with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information regarding the development and ongoing effectiveness of planning, program, and policy initiatives.

Special Conditions

  • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed
  • The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.

Requirements

Desirable - Certificate / Diploma level skills and qualifications within a Project Management / Business environment (or similar)

Remuneration

$98,478 - $104,165 (ASO6)
