We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Management Analyst with specialist expertise in Data Quality. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data assets, focusing on critical data elements, data controls, data rules, data dictionaries, and metadata management. As a Data Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management and governance of our clients data assets. Your main responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining data quality rules, metrics and dashboards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging your technical proficiency in Data Quality tools such as IDQ to develop and enhance domain data dictionaries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical data elements and define business rules and data standards for their validation and verification.
- Develop and implement data quality checks, controls, and validation routines to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical data elements.
- Design and maintain data dictionaries to document data definitions, lineage, and usage across the organization.
- Provide guidelines for structuring business metadata (e.g. business definitions, security/access levels, data quality rules) and technical metadata (e.g. technical/physical data elements, data lineage), where required.
- Establish data quality metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor the effectiveness of data quality processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, root causes, and remediation strategies.
- Develop and maintain metadata repositories to capture and manage metadata attributes, relationships, and dependencies.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data quality best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities in the sourcing, management of enterprise data.
- Develop data lineage and metadata ingestion for prioritised data assets.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working within Data Governance programs.
- Very strong familiarity with metadata issues, processes and practices.
- Experience in system mapping/ source to target data mapping.
- Experience defining, implementing and managing business glossaries and data dictionaries.
- Strong project co-ordination experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication and persuasion skills.
- Strong skills in data management technology including metadata management, data lineage and data quality tools.
- Experience maintaining metadata management tools, including developing data lineage and managing technical/ business metadata.
- Experience building and maintaining Data Quality reports.
- Proficiency in data profiling tools, data quality tools, and metadata management tools.
- Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP, DMBOK) or data quality (e.g., CIMP) is a plus.
