About the role

Fundraising Coordinator

After an exciting few years of program growth, we are now looking for a superstar Fundraising Coordinator to help us activate and grow our donor and supporter group and drive new fundraising and partner activities to support kids with cancer.

This key role is responsible for driving the acquisition of new donors and Corporate and Community partners for Little Big Steps programs across Australia. The Fundraising Coordinator will also build on existing community fundraising initiatives and donor events to help LBS grow a vibrant and sustainable pool of new supporters and activities that generate funds for Little Big Steps. The Fundraising Coordinator reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish a program of regular donor communications, fundraising activities and campaigns to generate funds for Little Big Steps
- Implement strategies to acquire new donors, corporate partners and fundraisers, as well as maintaining, retaining and fostering long-term relationships with existing supporters
- Support the CEO and Board where required for major donor discussions or grant programs
- Respond to donor enquiries, manage donation and thank you processes and provide engaging information to help establish relationships and coordinate supporter relations events and activities
- Establish and manage relationships and activities with corporate partners, community fundraisers and schools to generate funds
- Support project transition to new CRM system and maintain Little Big Steps donor and supporter database ongoing
- Support the development of donor materials and communications from copy writing to execution and delivery to market, including fundraising appeals and donor/fundraiser resources
- Attend Little Big Steps events and donor activities as required
- Other duties as requested by CEO

You are
- A driven and ambitious fundraiser/marketer, ready to use your skills to make a difference to children with cancer
- Experienced at stakeholder management and delivering excellent outcomes for partners and supporters
- Creative and passionate about creating campaigns and materials to engage supporters
- Action-oriented and goal-driven, with ability to work autonomously and desire to make your mark
- An effective communicator and values-driven individual committed to making the world a better place for young children with cancer.
- Well organised and disciplined as well as deeply passionate, excited and highly motivated for an opportunity to grow an organisation such as Little Big Steps
