**The company**:
Well-established design and manufacturing company in the eastern suburbs has an urgent requirement for an experienced Sourcing Analyst to assist with a specific project.

**The role**:

- Performing extensive spending analytics
- Reaching out and engaging with suppliers to obtain necessary supplier multiplier information via a questionnaire
- Analysing questionnaires and performing qualitative and quantitative analytics for necessary reports and visualizations to summarize the output
- Preparing a shortlist of suppliers for engaging in the 'supplier multiplier' initiative
- Preparing recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action to Purchasing Leader
- Supporting purchasing management in activities such as market benchmarking, vendor management, process analysis, market and industry research, and model building
- Schedule and arrange Company Management virtual sessions with suppliers to address Cummins supplier multiplier expectations
- Interacts with suppliers with regard to supplier multiplier queries and expectations
- Adhoc duties as required

**The person**:

- 1 to 2 years of Analyst experience
- Ability to work effectively autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced Excel/MS Office Suite a must and fast and accurate data entry
- Attention to detail, highly motivated and proactive
- Experienced working in Purchasing/Sourcing function and proven capability engaging with suppliers an advantage
- Experienced working in sourcing projects as a specialist or analyst highly regarded

Opportunity to work from home full-time (laptop supplied) or if preferred 1 to 2 days in the office. (Note: You will be required to come into the office a handful of times over the length of the contract)

It goes without saying you have excellent communication skills, are computer savvy and can commit to the entirety of the assignment.
