Board Governance Support Officer required
**Your new company**
This Not-for-Profit faith-based organisation is seeking an experienced Board Governance Support Officer to join them on a fixed term 6-month contract based in Parramatta.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will facilitate communication and collaboration between the Board and Schools under the organisation which will include supporting the creation of new board governance practices.

Key Accountabilities:

- Coordinating agendas, meetings, and key administration support for the preparation of the Board meetings and key subcommittees
- Conduct Board processes in line with compliance duties to meet the statutory reporting and corporate governance obligations which will involve maintaining key governance documents like registers and minutes of meetings
- Implementing governance processes and recommending changes to ensure continuous improvement for a newly established Board
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining governance and related risk management framework, policies and processes

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will be an individual with experience within a governance role with a risk management mindset. You will have experience creating new board governance practices and documents with proven ability interpreting legislation. You will have strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail regarding analysing and interpreting legislation.

**What you'll get in return**
This role will provide you with an opportunity to assist this Not-for-Profit organisation on a fixed term contract for 6 months. For your hard work and dedication, you will be remunerated between $57k-70k plus super. The role is based in Parramatta with hybrid working arrangements.
