**How will I help?**
As a Technology Services Manager you will play a key role working with a specific business function within the Westpac Group as their primary Group Tech representative for day to day and high impacting technology issues across business operations. You will be involved in problem resolution and in advocating and identifying solutions as needed across a broad range of technology platforms.
Your new team looks after a broad spectrum of technology service availability functions across the Westpac group, directly or indirectly supporting the daily needs of over 15,000 of Westpac’s and our Strategic Partners employees in critical back office, customer facing and technology Functions.
Location is flexible.

**What do I need?**
- Incident and issue management experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of IT systems is preferable but not necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to convey and interpret information simplistically and in a way that demonstrates your genuine intent to ensure you and your audience have been heard and understood.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience with influencing a variety of stakeholders across multiple business units, you can quickly build trusted relationships at all levels of seniority. Your are able you to work effectively with customers, stakeholders and partners to achieve quality outcomes for all.
- You are a self-starter and will be quick and efficient at getting to know and understand your business and how it operates.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure and be available where needed outside ‘normal’ hours
- Previous experience and understanding of ITIL / Service Management principles preferable
- Previous experience in a Service Delivery focused role advantageous
- You will be able to identify technology risks in your business and proactively work to reduce risk exposure across the group
- You will have the knowledge and relationships needed to quickly recognise and identify the customer impact (internal and external) of issues and challenges and you will be able to proactively coordinate solutions that meet your customer’s needs.
- You will be adept at understanding business drivers in order to identify potential outcomes for a range of technology issues. You will use your knowledge and relationships to inform solutions that balance effective outcomes for your customers, stakeholders and the business.
- Previous experience with Power BI and large-scale reporting preferable
