Simply Seated is an event Hire Company, specialising in furniture, tableware, props and decorative items. We are currently seeking a full-time Event Coordinator to manage bookings and the day to day operational aspects of the business. The role involves some styling elements, mainly through the creation of moodboards and styling briefs. There is some opportunity for on-site coordination and event management.

JOB TYPE: Full-time (9.00am - 5.00pm)
**LOCATION**: Annandale NSW

**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Managing the logistics and oprational aspets of the business
- Liaise with clients, managing the bump in and bump out
- Maintain logistics system
- Liaising with different departments in the business
- Sales and account management
- Invoicing and quoting
- Setting and attending showroom meetings
- Follow up quotes and sales
- Knowledge of Simply Seated, inventory and services
- Taking payments
- Showroom organisation
- Generating wedding and corporate leads
- Go the extra mile to drive sales
- Cross sell products
- Assess customer needs and provide assistance in suitable products
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer care
- Get back to clients within the specified time frame
- Establishing new business

Preferred but not essential:

- Two years experience within the industry
- Passion for wedding and event design and production

**Skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Being able to close sales at a high rate
- Drivers License. Own vehicle preferred
- Ability to create a vision board
- Advanced skills in Office
- A high degree of self motivation and ambition
- Able to work in a team environment and independently
- Customer service focus
- Confidence
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year
