Building Supervisor

**CMBM (Clean, Maintain, Build, Manage)** is a well-established Queensland owned and operated Facility Services and Cleaning business, enjoying continued growth throughout the State.

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a full-time **Building Supervisor** to support our business development. As a Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with QBCC regulations and standards. Your role will involve coordinating and supervising all aspects of building works, including subcontractors, materials, scheduling, and quality control.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- **Project Management**:Take charge of construction projects, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure successful completion within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
- **QBCC Compliance**:Ensure strict adherence to QBCC regulations and guidelines throughout all construction activities, maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
- **Supervision and Coordination**:Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal building teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient project execution.
- **Quality Control**:Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards, project specifications, and client expectations.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:Generate and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and other required documentation for QBCC compliance.
- **Budget and Cost Control**:Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and manage resources effectively to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:Maintain regular communication and collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.
- **Safety Management**:Promote and enforce a safe work environment, adhering to all relevant safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Possess a valid QBCC Supervisor License, demonstrating your knowledge and competency in construction supervision as per the requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
- Extensive experience in construction supervision, preferably in residential or commercial projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address construction-related challenges effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week

**Salary**: $79,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
