**About the Position**

We are seeking a seasoned **Operations Manager** to oversee operations in **Australia **within the renewable energy sector. This role requires a highly skilled individual who excels in people management, communication, and remote leadership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and optimising operational processes, with a focus on procurement, compliance, and certifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity of scaling up operations and contributing towards the mission of zero carbon renewable energy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the operations function in Australia, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement processes related to procurement, compliance, and certifications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee commercial and project-based deliverables, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, promoting high standards of quality among team members.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; MBA with a focus on Tech/Ops management preferred.
- Proven experience in operations management, particularly within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage people and lead teams remotely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
