Our client, a manufacturer North of Brisbane, are undergoing market expansion and currently seeking an experienced and motivated
**Quality Specialist** for a
**6-month assignment**.

The role requires a self-motivated person with a will to succeed and a very hands-on approach. The company services many local customers and product lines.

The role will be hands-on, requiring excellent mechanical aptitude, understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement as they relate to product quality and leadership skills. The appointee will be a clever team player and able to work with cross-functions of the business.

To be appointed for this position, you will need to have:

- A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Process Engineering or 4yrs + relevant experience
- Experience with Packaging and Machinery
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing and FMCG environment
- Previous experience in quality control and/or quality assurance position,
- A demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (WQA, SQF, HACCP, ISO)
- A keen work ethic.
