About the role:

We are recruiting for a Quality System Specialist to join our team You will play a mission-critical role ensuring our programs meet and exceed the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate across engineering, suppliers, and executive levels to deliver assurance and compliance world leading Defence systems.

Your day-to-day might include:

• Embedding quality from day one: reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory & customer requirements
• Crafting and maintaining policies, procedures, and metrics to uphold ISO9001, and regulatory expectations
• Driving data analysis, root cause investigations, and proactive problem-solving
• Assisting hardware, software, and systems audits against standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborating across teams to uplift quality, safety, and continuous improvement culture
  
  

What you'll bring:

Essential:

• Analytical problem-solver with data-driven decision-making capability
• Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with senior stakeholders
• Wiliness to obtain upon commencement lead auditor qualifications or a
• Resilient, hands-on mindset with the ability to prioritise in high-pressure environments
• Australian Citizenship (eligible for Defence security clearance)
  
  

Desirable:

• Completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training by a recognised training organisation
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001, and practical application
• Conduct and familiarity in root cause analysis technique and methods (i.e. ICAM) and trend analysis of contributing factors
