**About the role**

As **Head of Facilities**, you will support the Real Estate team to provide high quality property support services for Aruma stakeholders by coordinating response to Government, customer and staff requests on the condition or performance of Aruma assets, including investigation of issues, drafting responses and actions for asset improvement and replacement proposals.

You will lead the Facilities team to provide high quality services to Aruma staff, customers, and other clients across the organisational property portfolio, ensuring the facilities team maintain a customer-centric approach to develop asset and infrastructure programs for strategic and operational prioritisation of maintenance and service programs.

**Your responsibilities**
- Develop and implement best practice Asset Management policies and procedures, supported by appropriate systems and governance.
- Work closely with procurement to develop monitoring systems for supplier arrangements, consumables usage, in consultation with internal stakeholders.
- Actively manage supplier performance against service contract deliverables and in line with our Supplier Management and Procurement frameworks.
- Develop and implement procedures and programs for the ongoing monitoring of the building condition and suitability.

**About you**
- MBA or bachelor’s level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience (10+ years) in the management of a large portfolio of commercial and residential properties, managing procurement and supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated success introducing and aligning business practices and policies for procurement with regulatory framework.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract management, including invoicing, and negotiating terms and experience providing high level advice on complex procurement issues.
- Excellent written communication skills to enable preparation of high-level reports and correspondence.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills. Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, Great Plains.
