We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work at our client facility in Cannon Hill. Our client is an industry leader and one of the world’s largest family-owned beef export business.

**About the role**
This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a requirement to work on rotating shifts (morning and afternoon) including weekends. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be doing the following;
- Regular maintenance schedules to improve performance and ongoing improvements
- Timely response to breakdowns and troubleshooting
- Perform safety checks on scheduled and ad-hoc basis
- Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes
- Repair and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Focus on safety and safe working methods including JSAs, Risk Assessments, LOTO and permits to work

**About you**
- Relevant trade qualification
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
