Take a look here what it's like to work at Tyro **About the role**: The Cyber Security Advisory function provides advisory services across Tyro. Securing change in both the project and BAU technology space. Advisors are the eyes and ears of security, fostering relationships between key stakeholders, whilst ensuring that security impact is recognised and mitigated through recommendations, collaboration and involvement of Security SME’s whilst addressing business needs and keeping Tyro within risk appetite. - This is a technical hands-on position and a typical work week in the role is expected to be distributed as: Execution 80% | Managing Change 20% **What you'll do**: - Assess security initiatives across assigned verticals, whilst maintaining close relationships with stakeholders across the business. - Provide cyber security advice across the business to ensure that security controls are designed and implemented into each solution to comply with regulatory obligations. - Conduct Security Assessments, Third Party Assessments and Design reviews across Tyro BAU and project spaces. - Support teammates in a collaborative manner. - Employ and uplift processes relating to cyber security engagements to promote team efficiency. - Contribute to the development and uplift of security architectural patterns. **What you'll bring**: - Relevant cyber security experience with key responsibilities in consulting/advisory. - Strong understanding of security technical concepts - Have strong communication and influencing skills and ability to communicate with technical and non - technical stakeholders. - A broad-spectrum experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security and Data Management concepts. - Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud services. - Security certification like CISSP or CISM certification preferred. **Perks & Benefits** - We offer some amazing employee benefits such as a flexible working environment with a mix of in-office and remote working, learning & development opportunities for professional and personal development, 16 weeks paid primary carers leave, 12 weeks paid secondary carers leave, annual team based volunteer day, novated leasing, social events which includes multiple craft beer kegs (selection of beers carefully selected by our beer connoisseurs), wide selection of wine, variety of snacks and a ping pong table, selection of board and video games and many more **Our Story** - Launching in 2003, Tyro has grown to become Australia’s largest EFTPOS provider of all ADIs outside the big four banks.
