Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful venues - Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer - Compliance & Systems to join AVM’s Procurement and Supply Chain Department, located within the Adelaide Convention Centre.

**The Role**

As Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in the purchasing of a wide range of low value, indirect procurements for the business. In addition, the Procurement Officer will be accountable for providing high quality compliance, systems and procurement support to the Procurement and Supply Chain function to ensure value is delivered to AVM whilst adhering to procurement frameworks, policies and guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the procurement of a wide range of low value, indirect goods, essential for business operations.
- In conjunction with the Senior Procurement Compliance Officer, ensure procurement processes are conducted in accordance with South Australian Government and AVM procurement frameworks, policies and guidelines.
- Assist with the gathering and record keeping of procurement documents including activity planning, acquisition plans, tenders, submissions and procurement recommendations.
- Responsible for the completion of month end stock variance investigation and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing the supplier spend and performance reporting.
- Provide support to all procurement and supply chain functions.
- Responsible for administering the H&L stock and inventory management system and supporting the procure-to-pay process.
- Assist with the maintenance of all compliance registers, including Contract & Departure Register.

**About you**
- Striving to attain procurement qualifications or displaying a strong interest in advancing within the procurement profession.
- Exposure to the South Australian Government Procurement Framework desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing and an understanding of strategic procurement principles desirable.
- Have a professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Possess a strong verbal and written communication skillset.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other staff members & departments.
- Team-player, self-starter, flexible, reliable, and willing to take accountability.
- Confident and experienced in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Ideally, you will be familiar with administering ERP business systems and experience undertaking data analysis and producing reports or willing to learn.
