**Marketing Assistant**

Burger Urge (BU) has been making delicious and juicy burgers for 16 years We believe in making burgers the way they should be, with premium local ingredients, and delicious, classic, and on-trend recipes.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Marketing Assistant to help us spread the word about our brand and drive sales.

**The Role**

**The Job**
- Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns
- Manage social media accounts and engage with followers
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer behavior to inform marketing strategies
- Assist with the coordination of events and promotions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design and operations, to ensure marketing initiatives are executed effectively
- Manage the marketing budget and ensure spending is within allocated limits
- Get marketing materials to print
- Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager

Additional details
- The probationary period will include 2 weeks in-store as a crew member learning the operational side of the business.
- KPI bonus will commence at the start of a new quarter or earlier at the discretion of the Director.

About You
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food and beverage industry
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content for various marketing channels
- Proficiency with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Experience with CRM platforms, such as Mailchimp or Sprout is desired
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box
- Knowledge of Photoshop and other design software is a plus
