**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced **Warehouse Supervisor** to join our warehouse team in NSW, to provide direct supervision of the daily warehouse operations.
This role is ideal for a motivated, safety-driven leader ready to oversee warehouse operations, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and make a meaningful impact on Okami's supply chain efficiency.
As a Warehouse Supervisor reporting to the National Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- **Team Leadership**:Oversee warehouse operations, guide team for safety and efficiency, and train staff to enhance skills.
- **Delivery Scheduling**:Organize and manage delivery schedules for all NSW locations to ensure timely shipments while enhancing delivery service and reducing delivery times to meet each store's operational needs.
- **Inventory Control**:Oversee accurate tracking and management of inventory levels to meet demand and stock requirements efficiently.
- **Warehouse Space Management**: Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize storage capacity and ensure efficient placement and retrieval of items, facilitating a well-structured and accessible storage environment.
- **Collaboration with Internal Departments**: Work closely with Procurement, Quality Control, and Central Kitchen teams to ensure proper food storage practices, maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the supply chain.
- **Coordination with External Suppliers**:Liaise with third-party vendors to synchronize delivery schedules and streamline all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- **Budget & Cost Management**: Monitor and manage budget and cash flow to support cost-effective warehouse operations.
**About you**:
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- **Experience Requirements**: Experience in a similar role and/or Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working in a supervisory or coordinator role in supply, warehousing, or logistics.
- **Software Skills**:Experience in using warehouse logistics management software.
- **Educational Background**:A degree or vocational qualification in logistics or warehouse management is preferred.
- **License Requirements**: Hold a full license and a valid forklift license.
- **Leadership Skills**: Strong leadership and motivational skills to effectively manage and train team members while enhancing productivity and safety awareness.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate efficiently with internal teams and external suppliers.
- **Organizational and Planning Skills**: Strong time management and organizational skills to optimize workflows and effectively schedule deliveries in alignment with operational needs.
- **Financial Management Skills**: Proficient in monitoring and managing budgets to support cost-effective warehouse operations while maintaining awareness of cash flow.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- supply, warehousing, or logistics: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (preferred)
