**Position Overview**:We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to a safe and clean working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving and Inspection**: Assist in receiving incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders and packing lists. Report any discrepancies or damages promptly to senior staff.
- **Storage and Organization**: Help in accurately storing received goods in designated locations within the warehouse. Ensure that products are properly labeled and stored to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
- **Order Picking and Packing**: Collaborate with the team to fulfill customer orders by accurately picking the required items from shelves or storage areas. Assist in packing orders securely and neatly for shipment.
- **Shipping and Documentation**: Assist in preparing shipments for dispatch, including proper packaging, labeling, and completing necessary shipping documentation.
- **Equipment Operation**: Learn to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following proper training and guidelines.
- **Communication**: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to effectively communicate issues, concerns, and successes related to warehouse operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift moderately heavy objects.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Auburn, NSW 2144: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
