Parts Interpreter

Full-time permanent position Monday - Friday

**Melville Hyundai** are seeking an organised and experienced **Automotive Parts Interpreter** to join our team.

Reporting to the parts manager, you will be responsible for liaising with internal departments and handling customer enquiries in person and over the phone to ensure the timely issuing of parts.

**The Role**:

- Handle customer requests, take sales and quotation enquiries as required
- Building and maintaining customer loyalty and support, including the maintenance of existing clients and canvassing prospective new business
- Ensure daily orders are placed on time
- Monitor inward and outward freight arrangements
- Control and reconcile cash sales daily
- Assist in managing the department inventory and risk mitigation reports

**You**:

- Possess strong technical/mechanical knowledge and ability
- Excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and helpful
- Respectful and courteous to customers and colleagues
- ** Previous experience in a Parts Interpreter role is essential**
