WE ARE HIRING **SUPPORT WORKER TO WORK NEAR ROCKINGHAM** AND NEARBY SUBURBS FOR SHORT AND LONG SHIFTS, **SOMEONE WHO HAS INTEREST IN BICYCLE RIDING.**

Being Human Support Services is a registered NDIS service provider in Western Australia with a mission to create an environment that promotes inclusiveness, well-being, and enabling the independence of people with disabilities. We are passionate about what we do, and we aim to go above and beyond to ensure that our participants receive holistic care services that meet their needs and help them achieve their goals.

**About the role**

We are looking for a passionate and active support worker to join our team to support a client who loves BMX riding, long drives, and outdoor adventures.

In this role, you’ll support a client with a love for BMX biking, bike trails, and exploring the outdoors. Your enthusiasm for adventure and active lifestyle will be a perfect fit as you join the client on their bike rides, drive to interesting destinations, and assist them in planning meaningful, engaging outings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accompany the client on BMX bike rides and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.
- Provide encouragement and motivation to foster the client’s passion for biking and adventure.
- Plan and suggest locations for bike trails, long drives, and other outdoor activities.
- Build a positive, trusting relationship with the client to enhance their confidence and independence.
- Assist with daily tasks as needed to ensure smooth participation in outings and activities.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Interest or experience in BMX riding or a passion for outdoor adventures.
- Physically fit and able to participate in bike riding and active outings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and patient, with a positive attitude toward building meaningful client relationships.

**You must have**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability/ Aged care
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Working With Children Check - W.A. (or willing to obtain)
- Proof of working rights - passport; birth certificate; visa
- Valid driver's license
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Clearance
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Medication competency certificate

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rockingham, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
