**The Organisation**

My Supports is a well-established NDIS support provider founded and led by people with a disability. My Supports provides services to almost 2,000 clients across Australia. With a new CEO and ambitions to double our reach, we seek a talented Clinical Lead to help us thrive.

We are a rapidly evolving, peer-led organisation committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals, with physical, developmental or cognitive disabilities. With over 20% of our employees having a disability and over 40% having significant lived experience, we have a vision to deliver quality, individualised support through our Neighbourhood Teams, bringing local knowledge and connections. We carefully match support workers to help clients be included in and contribute to their community. **The Role**

The Support Worker role is instrumental to the support and capacity building of our clients in the pursuit of their goals.

Success means:

- Supporting clients to achieve their goals
- Encouraging an environment where the client exercises choice and control.
- Supporting the client in learning, capacity building, and developing positive behaviours.
- Working with clients, family/carers, relevant case managers and other professionals to support the client’s individual goals.
- Supporting a client to develop potential to live as independently as possible.
- Supporting the client’s community and social involvement.
- Qualifications in Individual Support, and Disability (preferred)
- Manual Handling (required)
- Nursing Experience (preferred)
- Experience or exposure to the disability support sector and/or the NDIS.
- Experience completing tasks such as personal care, community access, and general tidying duties (required)
- Willingness to be proactive team member and contribution to the continuous improvement of a positive and effective work environment.

**Location & Benefits**
- My Supports is a national company with operations in Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, our small, shared services office is located in Perth (WA).
- We are currently recruiting for the Rockingham, WA area.
- On-going shifts with steady hours each week.

- Disability Support Work: 2 years (preferred)
- Nursing: 2 years (preferred)

- Driver's Licence (preferred)
