**The Opportunity**

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a **Machine Operator**to join the **Westall**based team in **Clayton South**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in Steel and Aluminium. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

This opportunity will see you operate processing machinery, for example the Slitter or Shear line to process orders for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Machine Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

Working Monday-Friday on day (05:30-14:00) shift, you will have access to various health and well-being initiatives including Employment Assistance Program, Employee Real Deals and ongoing learning, support and training.

**What Will You Do?**

As a valued member of our Westall team, you will:

- operate machinery to process orders for our customers
- operate remote gantry cranes and forklifts
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment
