Supercheap Auto is seeking the next great leader to coach and support our passionate and talented team. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales and operating budgets; as well as monitoring and driving sales performance of your store network. This role will have stores across our Central Victorian area/region, which encompasses approximately 11 store locations in Melbourne.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Being a key driver in our Safety culture and leading our Safety First Safety Always mantra into your stores
- Driving a customer first approach to the way we engage and deliver our products and services
- Monitoring and driving sales and our key performance metrics
- Monitor, manage and control key commercials that affect our income and profit as well as our wage budget
- Review and analyse our customer feedback and identifying opportunities to continually improve the experience for our customers
- Play a key role in engaging with your broader team around development and career discussions and contributing to their personal development plans
- Manage administration and compliance requirements across your area as well as supporting your Store Managers across your network
To be successful in this position
- You will be a seasoned retail leader with a background in Multi-Site store management at either the Cluster, Area or Regional level
- You will be inspirational in your approach, with a true passion for people and their development
- You have strong understanding of all Retail Store Operations - end to end
- You have experience managing commercials which may include Cost Control or managing or being responsible for your own P&L
- You have demonstrated experience in delivering on Sales Targets and KPI’s
- You have the ability to travel across your store network as and when needed
