Part-time Diploma Childcare Educators Required

Erina kindergarten is a large family owned and operated long day care service. Located in a convenient bush setting in the heart of Erina kindergarten has extensive gardens, grounds & state of the art facilities.

Our service is open 6:30am - 6.00pm Monday - Friday. Closed on public holidays & closed over the Christmas & New year's eve period.

You will work with a team of dedicated educators and assistants to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) whilst maintaining the elements of the National Quality standards (NQS).

Qualifications & experience;
- A minimum of Diploma in childcare education
- Up to date First Aid
- Childcare experience
- A strong level of communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, families and the community.
- Be an inspiring leader and positive role model.
- Have personal and professional aspirations to make the child care industry that of a high professional standard.
- Have a readiness to go above and beyond for the children and families.
- Have a passion to make a difference in every child's learning Journey.
- Be flexible, reliable and overall have a happy persona.
- Want to make a difference in every child's life
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in working in the childcare sector
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (12 -24 months current)
- Current police check (12 months current)
- A working knowledge of child development
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff
- Be an advocate for nature play and support sustainable practices
- Experience with and understanding of the EYLF/NQS/National Regulations and Assessment and Rating process
- Solid understanding of the programming and planning cycle
- Positive, friendly and enthusiastic
- Have the ability to foster children's imagination, curiosity and creativity
- Be available 3-5 days per week with flexible working hours
- Ability to build respectful relationships with fellow educators, families, children and other professional relationships.
