PERSOLKELLY are on the lookout for a safety focused and people-oriented **Production Manager** to work with our client, a leading producer of chemicals situated in Kwinana. If you're the sort of person who enjoys keeping site operations running smoothly across a range of products, swiftly tackling challenges that arise, all while engaging and supporting your team keep reading
**The Role**
As Production Manager, you'll work closely with the Site Manager to keep operations safe, compliant, and efficient. With a range of detailed procedures already in place, you'll be focusing on maintaining consistency and stability of the production process. A big part of this will be leveraging your knowledge of planning in the manufacturing space, alongside your people management skills.
- Duties will include:_
- Supervising employees and contractors
- Managing budgets/timelines
- Undertaking Risk Assessments, JSAs, HAOs and other safety studies
- Maintain formulations and documentation
- Scheduling weekly production
**Skills and Experience**
- Production Manager experience
- SAP knowledge
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of computer control systems and Process Instrumentation diagrams
- Qualifications in Chemistry/Chemical engineering OR related process engineering/chemistry
An understanding of pump/reaction machinery in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
