**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Principal Iron Ore Analyst to join our Bulks Assets team. This role will be based in Perth, Australia, joining a global team of well-established experts. As part of the Metals and Mining Research Unit, the Bulks Assets team is responsible for delivering comprehensive research coverage of global coal, iron ore and steel assets, including analyses on production, costs, mining parameters and operational risks. Your previous experience includes reviewing iron ore assets, conducting competitor analysis and benchmarking and crafting industry-related cost curves. You may also have experience in iron ore exploration, operational workflows and trade and marketing.
You also understand the big picture, which enables you to analyse and form clear, coherent conclusions from various datasets and pieces of information. You find it easy to communicate complex or technical information and deliver messages that are easily understood. You thrive in a collaborative, commercial and client-centric environment.
You have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products. Programming skills are also desirable.
You are thoughtful, intellectually curious, creative and comfortable presenting to public audiences and interacting with small groups of executives.
You have a proven track record of fostering strong working relationships, developing networks and influencing others. The way you work is productive and driven, striving to be the best in class. You often share ideas, find better ways of working and make things happen.
