**About the role**

We are on the lookout for an experienced and driven
**Workplace Health & Safety Manager **to join the team based in
**Southport, Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD**. This role is a
**full-time** permanent position. Reporting to the General Manager - Repairs & Maintenance, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a WHS strategy to minimise risk and promote a positive safety culture across all areas of the business by working collaboratively with branch and onsite employees, subcontractors, and management to achieve outcomes.

**Objectives**
- Develop WHS strategic plan.
- Review risk assessments; conducting site inspections and investigations in consultation with employee representatives and management and ensure corrective actions are implemented as required.
- Develop and facilitate the implementation of a Safety Management System in line with the relevant legislative requirements.
- Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment and controls and incident investigations training to all managers and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with the WHS Safety Management System and relevant legislation.
- Design and implement a hazard management program for prevention of psychological injuries in line with NSW, QLD and VIC Code of Practice for Management Psychological Hazards at work.
- Provide advice, mentoring, auditing and training employees and subcontractors to ensure compliance.

**About you**
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar all-rounder WHS Manager role in the Property, Strata, Real Estate, Facilities Management and/or Construction industries, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the rest
- You can easily build rapport with stakeholders at all levels from C-Suite to customer facing roles.
- Solid knowledge of WHS legislative requirements and standards.
- You are passionate about being a team player and mentoring others.
