We are seeking for an experienced **Manager Insurance and Financial Reporting** to lead and manage a team in developing, delivering, and implementing insurance policy initiatives for the **Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure**. In this role, you will provide expert financial advice, conduct comprehensive research and analysis, and drive the Department's insurance policy commitments where you will also develop strategies for monitoring and evaluating insurance policies, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency, and lead stakeholder engagement to support sound policy decisions.

As a key player in our team, you will oversee the preparation of reports, briefs, and correspondence, and provide professional financial management support to executives and senior managers. Your role will be crucial in identifying emerging issues, developing evidence-based options, and ensuring the Department meets its insurance policy commitments.

**What is an essential requirement**:
Degree Qualification in Accounting, Commerce or similar discipline and studying towards CPA/CA (or equivalent) full member status, or extensive equivalent experience
