**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing and coordinating daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, debt collections, cleaning, security and occupational health and safety.
- Development of business strategies and patient services.
- Designs and implements workplace procedures in line with RACGP standards of best practice.
- Liaise with GP's, nurses and non-clinical staff to ensure they have the necessary support.
- Management of budgets and financial accounts.
- Effective management of practice resources both financial and non-financial
- Controls the supply of stock and medical equipment.
- Manages patient records and IT systems.
- Evaluates appointment procedures and patient services.
- Recruits, trains and supervises new employees.
- Maintains the practice website and online booking services.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

**Essential criteria**
- Experienced in managing a similar size or larger practice.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- High level of leadership and people skills, able to both encourage, support and direct staff as suitable.
- Demonstrated budgeting and accounting skills, with proven efficiencies for managing payroll, debtors and creditors.
- Thrives on being resourceful with plenty of initiative skills.
- Experienced use of clinical medical software systems.
- Familiarity of RACGP accreditation standards.
- The ability to lead and work as part of a team.

**Purpose of Role**

To ensure the medical practice remains financially sustainable while delivering exceptional customer experience and optimising patient care. The manager is to work with the Practice Principals to make key business decisions and oversee day to day operations. A priority of the role will be to expand and develop the practice and to ensure we best meet the needs of our patients. This will mean a collaborative role with the WA Primary Health Network and other health services to improve delivery of services. This is a full time position.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to join and lead our dedicated team and share our vision of growing and expanding the practice. It is key that the right individual is able to connect and make our patients feel welcomed, whilst being able to manage and oversee a small yet busy team of reception, nursing and General Practitioner staff.

**Salary**: $54,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical practice management: 1 year (required)
