**EOI Leading Hand Diesel Technician**

We are seeking expressions of interest from **experienced trades assistants** for a **Leading Hand** **Diesel Technician **to join our On Highway team in our Altona Branch reporting to the Service Manager. Debriefing with the Service Advisors on job progress, to ensure all technicians work towards maximising profitability and efficiency with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will be leading and coaching our technicians in repair routines promoting safety and quality in all aspects of the workshop environment in addition to providing input into training and development areas. As the **Leading Hand Technician, **you will be required to also oversee job reports to ensure accurate recording of tasks completed. Promoting an enjoyable team culture

**About You**:

- Appropriate Trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle
- Experience of at least 5 years in the Heavy Vehicle repair is desirable.
- Knowledge of industry and locality, and ability to motivate the team.
- Sound technical knowledge and experience in Man, Wester Star and Dennis Eagle product is desirable.
- Effective time management and Leadership skills is required.
- Understanding of labour sales, labour costs, gross margin, expenses and other financial ratios.
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.
