Long running, well-respected company looking for a Diesel Technician

About the Role

They are seeking qualified heavy vehicle mechanics to join their Repairs & Service team. The role involves maintenance, repairs, and servicing of road transport equipment, including pre-delivery and accessories fitment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and repair orders, ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete high-quality work independently

2. Service and repair all makes of trucks

3. Write clear and concise service reports

The Ideal Candidate (Qualifications, Skills & Experience)

- Trades qualified (Australian Recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanics)

- Excellent team player

- Customer-focused

- Keen to enhance and grow knowledge and skills

- Commitment to correct OH&S practices

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with Cummins, MX PACCAR, CAT, Detroit Diesel, MTU engines

- General servicing experience

- Diagnostic and analytical skills, including software-based diagnostics
