Fleet Supervisor

**Job Description**:
As the Fleet Supervisor, you work between the AM fleet team and PM drivers returning back to depot. You will help drive excellence by creating an engaging culture with customer focused across both the staff and drivers.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, results orientated and tough minded. Your attention to detail, passion, strong communication and management skills along with your understanding of OH&S principles and a geographical understanding will hold you in high regard.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinate effective delivery and pick up allocations, and delivery time slots to suit the customers’ needs- Labour forecast management- Oversee all administration tasks, delegations and movements of company fleet- Be pivotal in customer relationship management ensuring customer are kept informed of any service issues- Daily pre-shift & debrief meetings with Drivers- Develop your team with the purpose of improving performance- Supervise team including rostering staff in accordance with operational requirements- Actively drive a safety culture by ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported immediately and the corrective actions are acted upon in a timely manner
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a similar role / industry would be highly advantageous although not essential- Great attitude and a ‘can do’ mindset, highly motivated to achieve- Team player - build a culture and structure- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and deal with multiple activities simultaneously- Good analytical, reporting, planning skills for efficient route and load planning with high attention to detail and cost management- Sound knowledge in effective radio communications- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Minimum intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite (Pivot Tables)- Be flexible with working hoursDiversity and Inclusion
