**Full Job Description**

**ABOUT THE POSITION**
The role will provide support to the Senior Design Drafter in the production of drawings for the Engineering Department. The role includes flexible working arrangements with free parking and located close to Perth Airport.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrated proficiency and experience in Geometric and earthworks design with either 12D or Autodesk Civil 3D and with AutoCAD for Drafting and preparation of design plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of earthworks and pavement design principles including creating design surfaces & super alignments, cut-to-fill balancing and providing material quantities.
- Experience preparing 3D surface models and practiced drafting skills and Quality Control processes,
- Knowledge of Aerodrome Obstacle Limitation Surfaces and line marking design is desirable,
- Demonstrated ability to be highly organised, complying with developed drawing conventions, hardworking and meticulous, able to produce high-quality drawings within tight timeframes
- Ability to manage workload autonomously
- Ability to pick up concepts in a time efficient manner
- Professional presentation and manner, well-spoken and reliable

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Diploma in Drafting, Surveying or Engineering
- Experience in AviPLAN or AutoTURN software
- Previous experience or knowledge of airport layout and configuration
- At least 5 years proven experience in a similar role

**Compensation** Excellent remuneration depending on relevant skills and experience.

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Perth, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Geometric and earthworks design: 3 years (required)
- 12D, Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD: 3 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
