**Product Designer**

Our recent acquisition by Uber has created an amazing opportunity for us to combine our car-sharing community with Uber’s mobility platform to provide a complete alternative to car ownership.

**About the role**

Our growing UX team is on a mission to make car-sharing easier than owning a car. To do this, we'll need simple end-to-end experiences for both sides of our marketplace. As a Product Designer at Car Next Door, you'll design and optimise interactions across our apps and supporting channels. You'll collaborate with product managers, content designers, researchers, analysts, and engineers to identify and solve our user's biggest challenges.

**In this role, you’ll be**:

- Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers and engineers to ensure a smooth process from problem definition to release and beyond
- Designing user experiences that span our web and mobile app interfaces, messaging, and vehicle technology
- Communicating concepts and design decisions through wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to validate and iterate on your prototypes and shipped designs
- Identifying future opportunities and areas for improvement through continuous user engagement and data analysis

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring**:

- At least 3 years of designing lovable products
- Experience working collaboratively with product managers and engineers in an agile environment
- An ability to manage priorities of multiple projects and focus your efforts on the highest value work
- Empathy for our diverse car-sharing community and team
