Our Biodiversity Information Systems Team is currently seeking to appoint a BioNet Case Management Coordinator to oversee the delivery of high-quality biodiversity data products and advice. In this role, you will manage the BioNet case management system to deliver timely support to customers enquires, guide improvements to support systems, processes and information resources, and provide case management system training to the BioNet support team.
**About the role**
- Manage the BioNet Customer Support Centre, ensuring customer service requests are allocated to appropriate support staff, and are responded to in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor the status of service requests to report on the overall performance of the BioNet Customer Support Centre activities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain procedures and how-to knowledge articles.
- Provide training to support staff on the correct use and operation of the case management system, and occasionally to customer groups on the correct use of BioNet products and services.
- Lead small projects to design and develop improvements to products, procedures, or on-line self-service resources.
- Ensure that BioNet on-line support resources and communication material are maintained, relevant and accessible to customers.
- Provide Tier 1 support to the BioNet Customer Support Centre.
**About You**
**Essential requirements**:
- Experience and/or knowledge in the use of geographical information systems related software and experience in the use and management of environmental and natural resources databases.
- Understanding of natural ecosystems and general knowledge of fauna and/or flora in NSW with the ability to interpret maps and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of ecological scientific principles, and natural resource management issues.
