Mechanical Fitter, WA
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled **Mechanical Fitter** to join our dynamic team in Western Australia.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. If you're passionate about mechanical systems, take pride in your work, and thrive in a high-performing team environment-this opportunity is for you. The role will work across our Welshpool and Fremantle facilities.

**What You'll Do**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on a wide range of mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out timely and effective repairs.
- Install and assemble mechanical systems and components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Operate tools and instruments with precision and care.
- Work closely with engineering, warehouse, and safety teams, along with contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records and job reports.
- Always prioritise health, safety, and environmental procedures.

**About You**

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- Trade qualification: Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
- Proven mechanical fitting experience in industrial, warehousing or manufacturing environments.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using Computerised Maintenance Systems (CMS).
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
- Current driver's license and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks safely.

**Bonus Points For**:

- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience working with cold storage or food-grade equipment.
