The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Test Manager with strong communication skills, knowledge, and experience in banking and financial services to address risks/issues and perform quality engineering activities and focus on the delivery of valuable outcomes and ensures alignment to client and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mentor & coordinate the testing effort including making key decisions on use & introduction of new tools
- Execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for Core Banking Applications with understanding of customer accounts, transactions, loans, deposits and other financial products (familiarity with Australian Major Banking mandatory)
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders and excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation including test script, test cases and test data
- Establish and maintain metrics to track testing progress, defects and overall quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness

Required Capabilities and Experience:

- Extensive team management capability - address risks/issues, solution strategy and test reporting
- A complete understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD/TDD and managing projects across geographies
- Experience with Core Banking Applications with understanding of Customer accounts, Transactions, Loans, Deposits and other financial products (familiarity with Australian Major Banking mandatory)
- Experience in automation frameworks (Selenium-BDD)
- Experience in API, Webservices
- Experience in Agile Methodology and Test Management tools and techniques
- Experience with Compass
