-Join our Internal Audit Team based in Sydney and play a key role in delivering evidence-based behavioural insights that strengthen risk management across Macquarie.
This is a six month contract opportunity.

- What role you will play?As an Associate Director, you will lead and perform independent reviews of risk culture and behaviours, contribute to senior executive and board reporting and drive strategic enhancements to the risk culture program. You will guide and collaborate among an established team of risk culture experts and closely partner with the broader business-aligned Internal Audit teams. You will work closely with senior risk and business stakeholders to translate risk culture observations into practical impacts and actions.
- What you offer- Background in a Behavioural Science discipline, such as risk culture, organisational psychology or behavioural economics
- Experience in the Financial Services sector within consulting, Risk Management, Human Resources, Internal Audit or External Audit
- Prior experience leading and developing individuals, partnering with, and educating multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to identify and exercise professional judgement on notable culture and behaviour observations from a range of data sources, including perceptions, people and risk data and documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate behavioural insights for business leaders and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- About the Risk Management GroupIn our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
