**Underground Fitter**

Pit N Portal currently have multiple opportunities for experienced **Underground Fitters** to join our talented maintenance team across various sites in the Goldfields region. Working a 8 & 6, 2 & 2 or 2 & 1 roster.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Maintenance of machinery through the use of inspections, servicing, diagnostics and general repair to scheduled dead lines
- Underground breakdown repairs
- Fault finding
- General workshop duties and housekeeping

**Required skills / experience & attributes**:

- Previous mechanical experience and knowledge working on underground mining equipment (Atlas, CAT & Sandvik)
- Excellent problem solving, diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- High regard and commitment towards safety
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid "C Class" Manual Driver's Licence
- National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Working Rights within Australia
